Wedding at Complejo Aura, León, Guanajuato

Lorena and Fabián got married at Complejo Aura, and their ceremony was at Templo del Inmaculado Corazón de María, which is one of the prettiest churches in León, Guanajuato. It was a wedding with so much emotion from beginning to end, and here I tell you how the day went.

The morning

Lorena is the happiest bride I have photographed. She kept a smile on her face the whole time, from the moment she was getting ready at her house that morning. Once she was ready, she had a first look with her dad and it was very emotional: he was waiting for her at the bottom of the stairs, saw her come down and could not hold it in.

The first look and the portraits

Afterwards we went out to make their portraits, now with Fabián, at Complejo Aura. At that hour of the afternoon the light gets very pretty among the trees in the garden, and there, between laughs and with the veil flying in the wind, we made some of my favorite photos of the day. We also had time for a few photos with their family and their closest friends, who welcomed them with a tunnel of arms.

The ceremony

The ceremony was at Templo del Inmaculado Corazón de María. Lorena walked in on her parents’ arms and they married with the full rite: the readings, the rings, the arras and the lazo, surrounded by their whole family.

The reception

At the reception came dinner and the dances with their parents. And then the first dance, which ended with confetti raining down over the two of them. That one is among my favorite photos of the whole wedding.

The party

From there the party took off and did not stop. Everyone on their feet, singing, with arms and bottles up in the air. The truth is that almost nobody sat down all night.
