The ceremony: an open garden area, dressed with oversized paper flowers as a backdrop at Fer and Mon’s wedding — theirs was a sand ceremony rather than a traditional religious one, which tells you the space is flexible for different kinds of ceremonies, not fixed to one format.

Portraits: the stone porticos and gardens near the front gate. That’s also where the first look happens if you want one — the walk from the gate through the porticos gives a natural, unhurried sequence of shots.

The party: a lawn area that becomes the dance floor once the sun goes down. At Fer and Mon’s reception, the couple walked into the party under a burst of colored smoke along an aisle of giant flowers, then danced on the grass with a DJ booth and a full night ahead.

The reception we shot used outside vendors for the DJ and the colored smoke entrance, so it’s worth asking directly whether the hacienda requires you to use their own vendor list or lets you bring in your own — we can’t confirm that policy from one wedding. Same with guest capacity and any sound curfew for the lawn party: ask the venue directly, since that shapes how late your dance floor can run. What I can tell you firsthand: the space reads as intimate even at full swing, because the stone architecture contains the party instead of letting it spread out and feel empty.
